By Jim Budd

Henry Talbot's of London Ltd, a wine investment company, was wound up by the High Court on 18 June. The company was founded in September 2002 and traded from an address in Dartford. James Morrison was its sole director. Morrison was briefly company secretary for James Hewitt Associates, closed by the DTI in October 2002. James Hewitt Associates had itself risen from the ashes of Liquid Acquisitions Ltd, which was closed in January 2002. Andrew Dunne, company secretary of Liquid Acquisitions, was manager of Ransby Hoare Associates, which went into liquidation in December 2000 and was subsequently closed by the DTI in April 2002. The DTI has wound up 15 wine investment companies since 1998.
