Stowells, the UK-wide wine brand owned by Constellation Wines, is embarking on a UK tour that aims to distribute over 100,000 samples of its wines to consumers. According to organisers the Stowells Taste the World Wine Tour' will be housed in a giant marquee, and encompasses an airport-style departure board, entry via a boarding pass and tasting pods themed around each of the Stowells wine-producing countries. Each visitor will be invited to taste five samples (40ml) and one full glass (125ml) for no charge. A licensed bar area and barbecued food complete the event. This will be a great day or evening out, where consumers will be given the opportunity to enjoy the breadth of the Stowells wine range and see its contemporary image, which was introduced last month,' said Stowells' marketing manager Clare Griffiths. The tour will start in Bristol on 22 August, then visit London (29 August) and Manchester (5 September), with each event lasting three days.
