Majestic launches first ever digital loyalty scheme

Published:  24 September, 2026

Majestic has launched its first ever digital loyalty scheme, allowing customers to trade points for bottles of wine.

The programme is part of the retailer’s new smartphone app, which will allow customers to discover wines and make purchases, along with earning loyalty points.

Those who download the app will receive 50 free points, with users after that earning one loyalty point per £1 spent, whether purchases are made in-store, online, via the app or through a Wine Club or Lock it In subscription.

Points can then be redeemed exclusively through the app after reaching 100, 200, 400, 800, or 1,600 points, which can then be exchanged for free products in-store.

There will be a choice of rewards at each tier, ranging from wines in Majestic’s popular Guv’nor family at the 200-point level, to more premium options, such as E. Guigal Châteauneuf-du-Pape or Lanson ‘Le Black Creation’ Brut Champagne for 1,600 points.

Users will be able to access their digital loyalty cards directly through the app in the form of a unique barcode in stores, making the checkout process quicker and easier for shoppers with a Majestic profile.

The app will also have a number of other features, including allowing customers to build product wishlists; save tasting notes; add star ratings for drinks they have purchased; and check real-time stock levels in local Majestic stores.

Elizabeth Newman, MD of Majestic Retail, explained: “We have an incredibly loyal, knowledgeable and highly engaged customer base at Majestic, and we are always looking for new ways to recognise and reward that support.

“Our first-ever digital loyalty scheme and new smartphone app will make it quicker, easier and more rewarding than ever for customers to discover and buy new wines at Majestic.”

The retailer plans to invest further in developing and enhancing the app both ahead of the upcoming Christmas trading period and over the coming years, to ensure it remains relevant for customers.

The app is available to download now.
