The bottle is light blue with a white and gold motif, and distributors William Grant say it is an "ideal gift option".

The collaboration supports Fashion 4 Development, a global campaign, sponsored by the United Nations, which uses fashion to tackle issues in the developing world. Disaronno will donate part of the proceeds towards the development of the project in Africa.

Augusto Reina, chief executive of brand owner Illva Saronno said: "For the second year running we are proud to be partnering with another of the world's finest Italian fashion houses. To be able to include Moschino and Versace amongst our list of collaborators is a real honour and a testament to Disaronno's position as the world's favourite Italian liqueur."

The limited edition will be available from early October in stores across the UK with a suggested retail price of £15 for the 50cl bottle.

Disaronno's UK Brand Ambassador, Rod Eslamieh, has created a cocktail to mark the collaboration - it will be available exclusively at The Rivoli Bar at The Ritz London from October 20 until Christmas 2014. The cocktail is a Disaronno Versace Sour, with vermouth, lime, Prosecco and Blue Curacao.

William Grant & Sons UK  was founded in 1887, and remains a fifth generation family-owned business. The company's wholly owned brands include Glenfiddich, the world's most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, The Balvenie, Grant's, Hendrick's Gin, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Tullamore D.E.W Irish Whiskey and Three Barrels brandy. It also successfully represents brands owned by other premium drinks businesses, including Illva Saronno's Disaronno and Tia Maria, EPI's Piper-Heidsieck and De Kuyper Cocktail Liqueurs.
