North West wine Specialist Award launches

Paul Boutinot , chairman of the North West Wines and Spirits Association (NWWSA) has launched the inagural North West Specialist Wine Retailer of the Year award.

The competition judged by an independent panel of judges from the North West wine and spirit trade will look for retailers that excel in staff knowledge and customer experience.

Nominations would be accepted by the trade or Retailers based in Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and Cumbria and should apply on line at www.nwwsa.co.uk

Boutinot said: "The North West boasts a long history in the wine and spirit trade and some of the finest wine merchants in the country.

"By establishing this award it helps promote good practice and a real sense of achievement and competitive spirit in a more regionally specific context.' commented Paul Boutinot Chairman NWWSA.

Entry forms are now available to download from the NWWSA website. The closing date for all entries is the 1st June.
