Harpers Global Design Awards 2014: The Results

The competition to stand out not just on-shelf but also on-screen means there is intense pressure on wine producers, suppliers and, most of all, the creative and design agencies behind the labels to really up their game. Here are the results from the first worldwide Harpers Design Awards where we invited entries from around the world, attracting designs from the US, Australia and across Europe.

OVERALL AGENCY

Stranger & Stranger

Stranger & Stranger

With another hatful of golds, Stranger & Stranger continues to lead the way when it comes to drinks product design. A back-to-back win for Stranger & Stranger which succeeded in both the wine and spirits categories with a number of premium designs – particularly in spirits – that caught the imagination of the judges. Stranger & Stranger is also clearly benefiting from some of the more creative briefs for developing brands and designs for the US market, but when it comes to ideas and innovation it is the agency that continues to drive the design category forward.
